Team Building Skills for Managers and Supervisors

Course Information

Successful leaders seem to develop strong teams wherever they go, whatever task the team is assigned. It starts with an understanding of what makes a strong leader, and developing personal leadership capabilities.
 
Then, leaders need to be able to apply a variety of coaching approaches to keep performance on track. Being an effective leader of a team also requires the ability to leverage a wide range of personalities, skills, and abilities. Leaders must be able to analyze and capitalize on team strengths, work with diverse styles, and create a competitive spirit that builds cooperation. They have to be able to engage and empower employees so that decision making and accountability happen at the front lines.
